We'd like to put your know-how to work! The Store is recruiting business-savvy people who share our passion for Habitat and our passion for reuse. This new team of volunteers will build and expand our current Store business partner donor base. All of our ReStores have volunteer opportunities in customer service, donation receiving and as a friendly ReStore associate Whether you have tons of work experience or you're trying to build some, we have a place for you at the Freeland Habitat Store.
LOTS TO DO AT THE STORE Our volunteers have a lot of roles to fill-- from providing helpful customer service to creating DIY projects and displays, to pricing and organizing stock. We'll assess your natural abilities to find a place where you'll fit in and a role that interests you. If you already have experience working at a store--or working with a team-- we'll find you a spot where your skills are most needed. We love that you've been around the block a few times. Sharing your skills will help inspire new ideas and help our stores run smoothly. We know what you've learned will help us in our mission to sell donated reusable building materials, appliances and furniture to raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Island County.
THE FIRST STEP The first step is to complete our volunteer application, speak with our store manager and decide what time and day works best for you. Your also welcome to complete our online volunteer form and we will contact you to further discuss potential opportunities.
